3:24 Yeah, there's Fasmo. We've been playing a lot of

3:26 that, but I think you've been settling in on a oh boy, you

3:35 guys have to come back to beat my brains and on the replays

3:37 right now. Well, I've been playing a great

3:40 game called Axolotl. I've been obsessed with it.

3:43 Brandon knows. Brandon has seen this.

3:48 This game is right up my alley. It's if you get a good run, it

3:53 can get pretty damn absurd. Yeah, it can.

3:57 And specifically the imp character, because a lot of

4:00 characters as you shoot and deal damage, you fill up a bar in

4:05 which you can heal. If you haven't used it already

4:07 or sorry if you have used it already.

4:12 However, the imp he has a he doesn't heal.

4:15 Instead he can get a random item for free, but he has to deal a

4:19 lot of damage to get that item. You could probably go maybe most

4:26 of the first Biome before you even get an item, but if you can

4:33 get the right items and dish out a lot of damage you can start

4:35 getting 2-3 maybe 5 items a a room and that's kind of what

4:40 happened at the end of my run. Watching you destroy fucking

4:46 boss like the the boss's health, like it just whittles down the

4:50 fucking. Before it even launches the

4:52 first attack, it's like not even through it's spotting animation

4:55 it's already gone. Yeah, I want to see you see the

4:57 health go all the way down, then it goes back up and then it's

5:00 down again and like, Jesus Christ, man, fuck.

5:06 It's just amazing every single time.

5:09 Oh. My God, it's it's so great.

5:11 The Gatoringa, the mini gun is my favorite weapon in the entire

5:14 bunch. There's a lot of good weapons as

5:15 I'm starting to see, because at first I I decided to bum rush

5:18 the items because there was a there was a good set few of

5:21 items that I had on weapons that I had unlocked.

5:24 I'm like, you know what? This is a good loophole because

5:25 I didn't want to dilute the weapon bull and that was the

5:28 kind of the same thing. I didn't want to dilute the

5:29 loophole either, but surprisingly a lot of the items

5:34 are pretty good. Yeah, some are direct upgrades

5:38 to other items that are already unlocked.

5:39 Yeah. And that's kind of the same

5:42 thing with weapons, a lot less, but sometimes.

5:46 No, it's not bad. But jeez, everything about this

5:48 game tickles my brain. That's all perfectly.

6:55 gameplay loop is perfect. And you can always come back to.

7:33 alternate colors, same effect, everything, same health values,

7:37 shield value, whatever. But do that before I complete

7:41 the game 'cause. You know, just.

7:43 Do pretty much do everything the game has to offer.

9:30 with the game again. I feel that man.

9:34 It's just, it's just difficult to really devote the time into

9:37 it because what do you have? Work And then I've got my wife.

9:41 I'm taking, I, I needed to be able to spend time with, enjoy

9:46 some time with, and then just other responsibilities.

9:50 It just kind of it's hard to devote a game that takes hours

9:53 to get one thing done. I mean at least there's like,

9:59 There's RPGs for example, those can go on for 80 hours.

24:25 There's the four colors at the start and you can you can do

24:29 quests, but it's all cosmetic stuff.

24:33 You can unlock new skin colors you can unlock in free roam.

24:37 You can unlock different, what are they called rides?

24:41 No stars. They're called stars.

24:45 But you can fill that entire like grid of things to do.

24:49 And it's one of those grids where you can only see

24:53 challenges next to challenges you've already done and

24:59 completed. But you can complete whatever as

25:03 long as you meet the requirements.

25:06 Anyway, Not the point. The point of the game is you.

25:09 You start off with a basic star and as you play you can like hop

25:14 off the star and go find a new one.

25:16 Or my starter might get destroyed.

25:18 You have to find a new one. And that can kind of fuck you

25:20 over at the very end because you pick up upgrades like speed,

25:27 defense, offense, wait, flight health, all that kind of stuff.

25:32 And each star has its kind of like own hidden values.

25:35 Like if you have, let's say, 5 health upgrades, yeah, you could

25:39 on one star, you could have, you know, like a little bit of

25:42 mental health. But then you hop off that, find

25:45 another star, you could have a lot of health.

25:48 Yeah, or even the thinking about the special.

25:53 Oh my God, yeah, cuz you can get the Dragoon and the Hydra.

25:56 Yeah, and the Dragoon is really good.

25:58 They're both good at speed, yes, but Dragoon is good at flying.

26:03 Yes and you don't also cuz the the hydra you have to like sit
